Endurance by Alfred
Lansing Non-fiction, but reads like fiction. The story of Ernest
Shackleton's adventure / exploration in Antarctica - awesome read and it WILL
cool you off in the summer!!! Put on a sweater! The 5th Sacred
Thing by Starhawk A novel about a utopian, futuristic society
living in peace! Forever by Pete Hamill A young
man is granted immortality as long as he does not leave the island of
Manhattan. A fascinating way to tell the story of Manhattan from the beginning
to about now. Wonderful combination of history and sci-fi.
Ishmael by Daniel Quinn Thought provoking! The philosophical
dialog between a man and a gorilla about what has gone wrong with human
civilization! The Journey Home Kyron, channeled
by Lee Carroll A mans inner journey to life fulfillment.
Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian Weiss Non-fiction
account of a patients past lives experiences. Peace is
Every Step by Thich Nhat Hahn Thoughts on living a peaceful and
mindful life. Pope Joan by Donna Woodfolk Cross
Historical fiction about a woman who became pope!? (Great read, the ending is a
little cheesy!) Replay by Ken Grimwood What would
you do if you had to live a period of your life over and over and
over
The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell In
2019 a space mission is launched to a planet to be known as Rakhat. Probably
one of the best books I have ever read and I am not a sci-fi fan. And
yes, I am a Harry Potter fan! And lets not forget
some classics
Animal Farm by George Orwell
Centennial by James Mitchner Rebecca by Daphne Du
Maurier The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer
Bradley The Thornbirds by Colleen McCullough |
